Treatments


Your treatment may come in the form of tablets, which should be allowed to dissolved on the tongue, or you may be given a liquid. In either case you will be given written instructions with the remedy. After taking your remedy you may notice some subtle changes and patients often have a greater sense of wellbeing.


Your length of treatment very much depends on the illness you are suffering from, acute illnesses can improve over a few hours. More chronic complaints can take longer depending on how long you have experienced them for. Improvement is often seen quickly whatever the disorder. Homeopathy helps the body regain health and balance.

 

Your first consultation will take up to an hour and a half in duration and follow up consultations take about an hour and are about 3-6 weeks apart to assess changes in treatment and your improvement. Your appointment will include lifestyle advice and suggestions may be given if it is felt that this is attributing to your illnesss.

 

Should you need to cancel an appointment please give 24 hours notice.

It is important that you continue to take any prescribed medication that you have been given by your GP or hospital. Homeopathy is in no way a cure all, or a complete substitute for modern medicine, You will need to continue to see your GP and to seek medical advice should your complaint become serious. However, working alongside conventional medicine, homeopathy can offer a safe and effective alternative.

What to expect


 

 Your first appointment will take about an hour and a half and you will be asked lots of questions about you as an individual and your health. Your follow up appointments take about an hour and assess your treatment so far and the improvements you have made.

 

The cost of your consultation includes the remedy that you have been prescribed. If you have an acute illness while you are having a period of ongoing treatment no further cost will be incurred for treatment required.

If you are not currently being treated by me then a charge of £25 will be made for acute consultations and prescriptions.

 

24 hours notice is required for cancellation of an appointment.
